24-12V converter install

I plan to wire up my 720W 24-12 volt converter soon. The 12V fuse block does not have a separate ground post.
Does this mean the 12V and the 24V circuits of the converter can share a common ground location?

I have a Minor in Physics. Electricity and Magnetism, or E&M, was my lowest grade.

You gents have convinced me that I have one wire less to run back through the firewall to the battery.

Just for grins, take your multimeter and measure the voltage between each + terminal on the batteries and a chassis ground. The results should convince the physicist in you that all is OK.
