Rebuilt 22RE, started out not running well, I reset the dizzy and all was good for about an hour, shut down for abut 30 min., restart and i am back to only running on two cyl. seems to run on 1 and 2 but not 3 and 4, compression is good, got fuel as the plugs are wet with fuel. Need some suggestions on what to check and were. seems like my spark voltage is week.

new cap rotor wires and plugs, swapped ignitor. I can pull the wires for 3 and 4 and the truck will keep running. pull plugs 3 and 4 and they smell of fuel, exhaust smells very rich. compression check is good. ECU? Wireing?. Going to hook up a spark tester to see how strong the spark is, I think I have spark just not stron enough. I have red some post about the TPS causing tuning issues, I am going to check the adjustments on that as well.:bang:

Long shot: turn off all the lights (or wait till it's nighttime), and start it up, look for stray sparks.

Had a bad missing problem years ago with an old Chevy V8. Opened the hood in the dark, sparks flying everywhere. New wires cured it, which I know you've already done, but I have seen brand new spark plugs not work due to a hairline crack in the insulator.

Did that, no signs of cross firing. I think my issue is week spark, pulled plugs, #1 has a good burn pattern #2 is not as good #3is wet and so is #4. I'm going to check voltage at the coil as well as recheck the TPS, if that does not work im pulling the engine wiring harness and start looking for problems.

Double check the order of the wires to make sure 3 and 4 aren't crossed?
