22R won't start after sitting

My 84 Pickup with Carbed 22R won't start after sitting for more than a day. I can giver a shot of ether and she fires right up. As long as i start it every day its fine. Is something in the carb nfg? Or should i put a new fuel pump on it? Just got the truck and trying to get it ready to pass inspection. Any ideas would be appreciated

Howdy! Make sure the choke is working 100%. Otherwise, it could be fuel filter or pump. John

Maybe the fuel bowl is emptying? I'm not sure if that's possible, but would cause that problem.

Mine sure did on my oem carb. Some how the tank pressure was sucking the fuel right out. Make sure the fuel lines are hooked up correctly
