I don't think they'd reuse the FJ40 model name either.
What they need to do is come up with a SUV version of the Champ and bring them both to the USA. They can't. But I'd drive one of those little turds no problem. I like cheap reliable vehicles.

Looks like an fj-cruiser with a body kit
Check out the copper state cruiser site in the club House section. There is a link to one that looks close to FJ40 with jeep fender flares. With the release of the 250 LC and the 1958 edition chances a repo FJ40 is highly unlikely.
