All these pages bring me to the same conclusion. That Toyota is taking a page from the Porsche marketing strategy. They remove more stuff and add a sticker and charge you a premium for it. Besides some stickers and no third row or cool box, what is it you're getting with a Heritage Edition? Nothing else that I can see at all.....

Middle East spec HE gets cloth seats and a built in compressor.

Now that is sweet! I have a twinair under the hood but suddenly want the OEM compressor in the back panel like that. Hmmm

You'd lose the sub, but should work fine. I think under the hood makes more sense.

Are those 17" alloys? And no darkened headlamps?

With the way toyota builds things for durability I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't like the under-hood environment (heat, dust) for an air compressor.

Does your picture #3 have a poster of the new 300 series with the Olympic dude???

I see new headlights, Cruiser fender lines, three windows, A,B,C & D pillars, Cruiser looking lower trim bits...

It doesn't look like any Toyota I know of currently, but if it's on a poster in your dealership, clearly it has been publicly released.

Maybe it holds some clues to the near future...

Any chance you have a better/more complete picture of what it actually is ???

Thanks

That’s what the higher trims of the LC look like.
For example, here’s a GXR Grand Touring:

Thanks for the picture of the current model...

It is definitely different than the vehicle in the Olympics Poster in the dealership on photo #3...

The #3 had an almost straight beltline like a Range Rover and has a square (ish) headlight with a circle type turn signal / marker light...

Makes me hopeful Toyoda will get back to a semi-normal looking grill on the 300's (Lexus) and let the BIGGEST GRILL WAR fad away as a bad trend among the auto-ego wars.

I can made my Blue Oval 18", I can make my BMW kidney 28", I can make my Mercedes star bigger than a pizza and light up like a Las Vegas sign...

They are in bad taste now and will be an absolute joke 10 years from now, like New Coke....

PhD Marketing Clowns !!!!!!!!!

Don't ruin the 300 Series, PLEASE.

I'll go back today and get a better picture.

They say it's the 2020 model. Could just be the poster angles.

Wheels are 17" alloys on 285/65R17 tires. Wheels from the Toyota parts department are $600 EACH. 33 pounds each

Hi prwillard2,

Thank you so much for going back and taking a picture of the poster...

I hope you didn't have to drive too far...

It is amazing how squared off the 200 appeared in that glimpse of the post in photo #3 to my eyes...

Maybe a 2D photo of a 2D poster makes certain feature lines appear stronger...

Or maybe I need glasses... LOL !!!

Anyhow, thanks for the new photos...

I owe you a beer, if we ever meet at a cruiser event sometime...

Stay safe !!!

Peace.

For those on fence in US about buying in 2021...just got this heads up from my dealer.

This seems about as official an announcement as we've seen.

*grabs popcorn and waits for all the auto blogs to pick this up and claim they were the first to know about it*
