FYI for folks getting 20LC and planning to go with a taler wheel and no lift.
I have just moved from 16LC to 20LC. I am using my old 33" wheel setup as I did for my 16LC. On 16LC I had no rubbing unless started adding spacers. On 20LC seems inner fenders may have slightly deeper groves and I am now getting slight front rubbing when in reverse and in a full lock or when I am hitting a bump when turning. The rubbing is on the inner fender right above the little flap held by two screws.

Is this the same spot? This is passenger front on my 08 with 285/75R17 KO2's on rock warriors

Interesting. P.S. you haven't posted any pics of your new ride?

I know. Looks identical to the 16LC. Maybe should post those pictures as no-one will notice ;). Still working on doing quick upgrades (clear bra, LED turn signals, Push bar). So far I have put back just the wheels. Need to go to Europe for couple weeks so will try to finish up things when back.

I think I may have rubbed if I had 275/60r20s (32.99") on my 2011. I ran 285/70/17 (32.82") and was VERY close to rubbing at full turn.

Not a huge difference in size, but I had very little clearance to deal with.

Are you sure 275/60/18? 33” is 275/70/18.

I’m not with my computer to look them up but one could compare fender liner part numbers to see whether there is a difference.

Different number doesn’t necessarily mean they are shaped differently where you are rubbing, but the same number could confirm it’s an alignment or other suspension difference vs with the body.

2016 USDM URJ200L-GNZVKA

Right front fender liner: 53875-60160
Left front fender liner: 53876-60130

My parts program doesn't go newer than 2018, and the numbers are the same for that. Anyone else able to look up the numbers for 2020?

Not surprising given the front bumper difference, but 2013 is a different number.. with a break at 2/2012.

Edit: Fixed a typo... (do 285/80/17’s even exist in a KO2? ;) )

And... @bamma is right about spec measurements. I stubbornly think of what I measure them actually mounted on my wheels...so I think of them as 32”...

I dunno...
Even 32” (285/0/17 KO2s) rubbed in reverse on my 2008until I removed flaps and reshaped a bit of skirting.

A true 33” would have rubbed even more.
Could be as simple as changes made during alignment, You can push the wheel forward via alignment tricks.

Do you reckon differing alignment settings might explain the rub in one truck vs the other, as opposed to changes in the fender liner?

jinx! ;)
I think that’s likely the culprit.
Even smaller tires rub (see my other response to op).

285/80r17 would be 34.95". I think you meant 285/70r17, which is a 32.71" tire.
