Looking at a 2019 LX 570 Certified Pre-Owned with abotu 60k miles. Asked for underbody pics and this is what I got. The car is a New Jersey/New York vehicle. What do you guys think? Run?

If you want to buy a 2019, I think you can probably find a less rusty situation. Unless you're getting a big discount from market, I would keep looking.

That rust isn't horrible, but the vehicle is not that old.

My 2 cents...take it for what it is worth.

Looks as expected for it's history.
Can you find better, sure but probably at higher price. We don't know how much is asking.

It’s probably salvageable and worth the effort. If you buy it, get it up on a lift or ramps and go to work cleaning up and treating as much rust as possible.

Someone with an LX needs to chime in on the 2 tubes that appear to be cut off under the sides steps in photo 5 of the first post. That normal?

"Tubes" are just the stock AHC guards. That's stock.

I wouldn’t.

Rust free vehicles all around me here and at or below those prices with same mileage.

If you’re spending 60k on a truck, why not get one that doesn’t have rust? Might cost you an extra 1-2k to travel and get one, but you’ll spend more than that in time and money to fix the rust on that truck. IMO.

Price is 60,500.
Not a special price. You can get on from the sun belt for that price with shipping in the lower 48.

If I was you, I would start with something more "fresh" and consider undercoating (Woolwax or your favorite) for rust inhibition.

If you were talking about a 2010 model year for $20k, I would say go for it. Alternatively, negotiate downward.

Again, just my 2 cents.

I'm not seeing any CPO vehicles at that price range that are rust free, can you point me in the right direction?

I would note that in my own vehicle searches, I’ve become very impressed with the Lexus CPO program. You’ll have 2 years of very low cost ownership with service and repairs paid for.

If rust isn't inevitable in Virginia (I honestly don't know), it's worth waiting for one that hasn't already got the cancer.

If it'll end up rusty anyway? Go for it.

I'd definitely pass on this one, and I live in Maine where everything rusts. There's plenty of other ones with zero rust.

This. 100%. $60K is a lot of money. And that's a lot of rust for 60K miles. If it was older and cheaper sure (the rust isn't awful or anything not salvageable) but you can do better for that price.
