I just dropped my 2019 200 series (1 year old with 4,995 miles) at Sterling McCall Toyota in Houston - the a/c vents in the dashboard went out today - first on the drivers side, then on then passenger side. Still blowing at the foot level, and an inordinate amount of air blowing at what seemed like the windshield and front window defroster vents.

They are going to diagnose and hopefully fix - but wanted to see if anyone else has had any recent a/c vent trouble - just in case I need to help "guide" the technicians with a diagnosis if nothing obvious shows up when they look at it tomorrow.

Also - they had the part in stock for the seatbelt recall - so that should be handled tomorrow as well.

Thanks as always...

There have been a lot of these lately. Sounds like toyota may be having a bit of a reliability issue.

Whatever the solution is, please post it so others can use the info to help diagnose theirs.

Thanks for the responses -and sorry I missed the other post - I did search - but I missed that thread posted by ryanCA.

Here's the update - picked up the car late this morning - they couldn't find any code errors so they "reinitialized the AC system." It is working well at this point. Still not as cold as my R-12 89FJ62, but at least it's blowing and cooling the truck properly in this lovely Houston fall weather. Also, they did fix the seatbelt connector recall issue, so that is behind me.

Again - appreciate the help as always. Hope the system continues to work.
