I don't know how y'all manage it, but you once again pulled it off. Many thanks and much respect to the CottonLand BOD and club. You're hard work is very much appreciated as we had yet another outstanding time. See y'all down the trail!

Add an upper ball joint and half shaft destroyed to the carnage list for my fellow TAC member Ryan Rapp in his 07 FJ Cruiser on Squib's Run 3 hours into his 2nd real wheeling event.

That the one off to the side close to the tree line, off camber and nose up hill hooked to a rock scotched 80s winch cable on Saturday? If so, props to the repair and recovery crew.

That was a fun adventure. Way over due for a ball joint.

I’ll echo all the thanks for the CLC BOD and their families for all the work put into this event every year. The event just keeps getting better and better. There were a number of my friends from Houston who attended for the first time, and they will be back! Y’all are awesome. Thanks again so much.

That would be my guess. In the owners defense he did tell me he just bought it.

Yes and my buddy has an awesome set of tools. All those scratches will buff right out of my Lexus. Thanks.

Original upper A-arm?
Not sure I'd trust that either.

Learning experience for the owner. His first experience with that rig off road and he had only been out 3 hours.

I am sorry for my gruffness as I had told him to sit tight while his daughter drove my rig up that edge of the tree line. I had spotted 4 FJCruisers through that spot next to the tree line the day before with no issues. In hind sight it probably didn't matter which line he was taking and probably a lot better that it happened there even with the difficult recovery. If that joint had snapped on the highway he probably would have serious human injuries.

Ryan made a parts run to Little Rock before dinner and the FJCruiser bunch I was spotting the day before got him all fixed up for the 7 hour drive back to KC that night. We even had a little time to relax in a Hot Spring Sunday morning before he rolled out.

Thank you to all those that helped us on the trail. Though I had most of the tools required that was my first encounter with how to trail repair a IFS rig. I'm going to have to quit relying on my wheeling buddies for the 54mm axle socket.

Many props to the CLC BOD for putting on such a great event, the hospitality and comradely of all the people I met and all those tube buggy guys that let me hang out with them at night. I had a blast!

While coming to the Crawl meant I'd have to suffer the company of Ben-o for three days straight, I had decent respites because @Fireman took me wheeling all day and @BMThiker took us out as well.

I've been hearing about you all for the past 6 months and it was good to finally meet Ben-o's Southern family!

Folks who are willing to put on events that large are pretty amazing and you guys do it with style, class, and grace.

I had a delightful weekend getting to know you guys a bit.

But more importantly, congratulations on a great event!

@wct49 miss you already, baby.

150+ trucks! You guys must have a bunch of dedicated members, someday I gotta get to this event! Looks like all the hype was legit. Thanks for sharing all the pics.

I heard roughly 1/3 were first time attendees. And there are a lot of non-club attendees from out of state (or even time zone).

Thanks CLC for another fine event! Glad crawl occurred cause I sure needed some relaxation.
Only pic I took was at top Ingrid’s; woody and Heather enjoying the trail.
