That was your 99 right?

dang....I'm showing up on Friday, but I've been in the park twice before so it's not my "First time"

This is perfect timing! I leave Yellowstone NP in Wy heading back to Atlanta Oct2. Going to hit the LC museum in SLC then spend a week or two in San Rafael Swells and Moab. Then I will make a slow role to your event. Should be great time!

Not at all. Just a safe vehicle and a desire to have fun!

I'm planning on making it this year. What all do we need to do? Register, pay park fee once I get there
What about parking/camping spot? I'm planning on sleeping Friday and Saturday in the back of the 100.
Are there some less hard core trail rides for the newbs that drive up their wagons and have to drive them back?

First step is to register but you can also do it on site at the risk of not getting an event shirt. Next would be to work out your sleeping accommodations. The RV sites are limited so call early. I would be surprised if there is anything other than overflow RV parking left at this point. There are usually plenty of tent (primitive) camping and overflow but they have no power or water. There is a KOA nearby, Panther Valley, and plenty of hotels in Hot Springs as well. As to trails, the park is pretty well mapped out and the trail ratings are fairly accurate. There will be lots of help getting you on the right kind of trails for your rig and comfort level. Park fees are paid when you get there and before you go to the event registration table under the pavilion. Hope that helps.

I'm in. My only issue is that it doesn't start today!

oh wait...my truck is in pieces....good thing I guess!

Thanks @Bossman. That helps. I'm guessing I need to go ahead and reserve a primitive spot to pull my truck up to.

park by pavilion, shorter walk to drop and get up to pee!!!

Spoken like someone who has never been to the event...

errybody knows you can drink more if you drink where you plan to sleep!

I think what Bossman is referring to is the fact that you don't really want to camp next to the pavilion due to the fact you WON'T get much sleep in that location. lol
