I have a new to me 2016 Land Cruiser and it’s pulling to the right. I’m wanting to get an alignment done, and for my other vehicles I have always provided the alignment specs to the tech. I will be going to a Toyota dealership for the alignment, they are the ones that have aligned my Tundra also.

I can’t seem to find preferred alignment numbers for a stock 200 Series Land Cruiser. I’ve found specs for lifted Cruisers, but I’m not sure if those specs are the same for a 100% stock Cruiser.

I have a Tundra, and on the Tundra forums it’s documented what alignment specs to ask for.

My question is, is there a preferred specs for the alignment other than them saying it’s “in the green”?

This is what’s recommended on the Tundra side, and it’s what I use. My Tundra drives great with a ~3.25”/1.75” lift:
Camber: +.1 degree camber on both sides.

Caster: As much as possible without sacrificing +.1 degree camber or causing a cross caster pull.

Toe: +.12 degrees per side for a total toe of +.24 degrees. (some guys have had to drop toe to +.04 to +.5 per side/+.08 to +.10 total toe)

I just had my alignment completed last Friday. Here's what they printed out on my 2008.

Thank you, I assume it drives to your liking. This gives me a reference point on how the numbers should shake out. Looks similar to the numbers I give for my Tundra alignments.

Someone told me the 08-15 had different “suspension” than the 16+. I’m not educated enough yet to know if that’s true or not

"drive" is a relative term this last weekend . My radiator failed within 24 hours of new tires being installed. It hasn't left my driveway since replacing the radiator Saturday.

Drove great on my way home from NTB, but that's only 1 mile or so. Hope these numbers help for context on the 200

Sorry to hear that, bad luck.

I appreciate you sharing your specs, maybe we’ll get a few 2016+ to see if thespecs truly different.

Got mine done today. Just like your Tundra make damn sure they torque your LCA bolts to 207 ft lbs.

Looks like the specs are close to what I use for the Tundra, thanks for sharing.
Also I don’t see much difference between the 08-15 and the 16+ specs they did for you.

I also have adjustable UCAs, which are a double edge sword. It took me going to 4 different shops that could comprehend how to take advantage of the additional adjust-ability. In which case they can get it exact without sacrificing camber or caster.

I run my 2013 caster as positive as I can get it. In the high 3s. I would take more but I cannot get to the end of the envelope without injuring other settings. So 'just in the green' is absolutely a bad idea for my truck. I want to point at the horizon and go there without playing aiming games every five seconds. The overboosted power steering is part of my problem. It may just be me. I sought out the very best alignment person I could and we did it together so I knew every tradeoff.

I’m not sure what substantive changes there would be. The links/arms/bushings/base geometry are all the same, front coils the same, one of the rear coils changed part number but that could be a very minor length or rate change, and the other coil is the same. The front knuckles are different but this likely is for the larger brakes. The wheels do have 4mm less offset so maybe there are slight differences in ideal alignment, but I couldn’t call that a different suspension.

Thanks for the specs everyone, I think I am going try what I've used on the Tundra (seems close to the other specs posted), except for it should have a lot more caster being 100% stock.

This is what I will provide and I will report back on how they do, unless someone objects

Well I gave them my specs and this what I got back. Little disappointed, as it appears they did a “toe and go” alignment. And got the “this is Toyota specs”. But it drives great and doesn’t have any more pull.
