Has anyone experienced or seen the 2016+ Land Cruiser or LX headlamps start to haze over from sunlight UV degradation? It appears Toyota made a much more resistant to fade compound for the plastic housing for the refresh, as I have not seen the hazing out in the wild, but it could be that the cars are just not old enough to start seeing it.

I was going to order in some Xpel headlight PPF covers to avoid hazing on my 2016 as the plastic is still crystal clear, but am unsure if it’s even something that’s needed.

I bought my 2013 in 2018 and they weren’t bad, but it had definitely started. If 2016s are going on 7 years without it being an obvious issue by now, I’d say they did the right thing and upgraded the coating or plastic somehow.

Congrats!
