2016 Four Runner Wheels on a 78 40 (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone has installed a set of 17" Four Runner Wheels on their 40? My friends had a set that she took off her 2016 and I think that they would look great but wondered about fitment. Would I have to run wheel spacers and machine out the center caps?

You would need wheel spacers for sure. I think we can fit up to 3.5" backspacing, the 4runners are 5" or 5.5" something like that.

The size of tire you run can make a difference as well because of the Tie Rod End location.
