19 grams organic slow roasted beans plus 3 spritzes of Vatican holy water and 17 1/4 turns on the hand crank makes all the difference :D

The fern frond just made it that much more enjoyable for us plant dorks.

IDK. All that just looked like hot milk to me.

I take my coffee like my women: Dark and Bitter

Me too. But I take my back country wilderness campressos strong rich and creamy.... aka perfect

I like cream and sugar but it ends there. I felt like I'd hit coffee evolution when I bought a grinder. If I don't do it at home, certainly not on the trail.

Grew up in a house where my Dad drank Maxwell House instant. Back then it was high tech.

I just make it like my grandma used to in Cuba, the espresso maker, bustelo (since La Llave is not the same) grounds, a little salt in the water.

You guys want to talk coffee just come to seattle... in the city limits there are almost 10000 coffee stands/stores.

Places where you can get coffee for 75 cents and places where you can get coffee for $30 a cup. One of the guys I work with is a coffee geek and can make a cup that will put anything to shame... but for the most part I like my coffee with whole milk or black. Thats it, don't really care the kind either.

I did buy one of the shirts for this event though.... not too bad. They were able to get a T size from their vendor, i'll most likely order a few more of their shirts.

Also ordered one of the american adventurist decals for the rig.
