The company that Dan is speaking of does not sell a kit. They want to "borrow" a complete kit so they can reproduce it. At least that is my understanding.

At SEMA I ran into a company willing to make a complete rubber set for an FJ45 or FJ40, I just ordered 2 FJ45 sets and an FJ40 set. I will let you know how they fit but I have seen them and they look perfect. They do seem a bit expensive at about $675 but they include everything that is rubber and I mean everything from the hood bumpers to the windshield to the roof cap gasket. About 50 pieces and it makes sense in a restoration.

Funny, as mentioned, I don't think there is one single part on a 40 or 45LPB that is the same as a 45LV. Two completely different animals. No one is likely to make a kit because they would only sell one or two. Our beasts are very unique and rarely restored. LV's were all originally hand built. Nothing like the FJ40 or even the 45LPB, which is also pretty rare. Thanks for the help though.
