2013 LX Console Options

Center console is busted up and loose. Dealership wants to charge close to 800 to replace and install new one. Any aftermarket options or can I tackle it myself if I can purchase the parts from a dealership? I think it has the luxury package, but no cool box

Sorry no pics, it’s at the dealer. Appears to be internal, nothing looks to be broken on the exterior?

Whole console is loose? Or just the lid?

The lid, but appears to be loose at where the lid is attached via the metal support braces connected to the base. Will post pics when I can

One of my split arm rests is broken from kids kicking the back of it. I have glued it back together a few times, but they keep putting their feet up and breaking it.

I haven't been able to source just the lid to fix it and the cost of replacing the whole thing is outrageous. I really hate the split design as sliding it forward renders your only cupholders more useless then they already are. I am debating just just gluing the whole thing in place.

Have you been able to source a fix for the kids that keep kicking it? I'm thinking something like:

Just kidding! I can't keep my 19 year old from putting her shoes up on the dash.

There is another thread that shows how to put a small bolt through the flipper. Has not broke since doing that and of course kids still kick it.
