Has anyone done a successful ashtray removal mod? I've had my 2013 LX for about three months and every time I look down at it I see the wasted space from the ashtray and the worthless little rubber pad right below it. What mods have yall done?

It's a great place for your phone. As an added bonus, you have to remove it to place the vehicle in Park so there is less chance of leaving your phone behind!

For those wondering how I secured my ham radio in the ashtray location, this is how I did it:
I think this is where I want to mount my P3. Any pro tips? I was trying to come with a solution to make it a solid fit, but also removable since I don't tow very often.
