Reminder: No dogs are allowed on the property. (Not even leased ones)

The showers may or may not be operational by this weekend.


DIRECTIONS TO THE NEW K2:

From Mason, Texas
The New Katemcy Rocks / K-2 is located approximately 6.2 miles from the Mason square.

Physical Address:

4869 West Hwy. 29, Mason, TX

GPS waypoint to the front gate is:

N 30� 47.642'
W 099� 19.522'

MapQuest Directions

Traveling from Mason:
From the square, travel approximately 1 mile north on Hwy 87N;

Turn left (West) at the intersection of Hwy 377/29 and Hwy. 87 (the yellow blinking light);

Travel approximately 4.1 miles to the split of Hwy 377 (Junction) and Hwy 29 (Menard);

Veer right and stay on Hwy 29 (towards Menard) for approximately 1.1 miles;

The K-2 entrance will be on the left side of the road at 1.1 miles.

From Brady, Texas:
Take Hwy 87S/Hwy 377 to Mason (approx 27 miles);

Before entering town, turn right (West) at the intersection of Hwy 377/Hwy 29 (the yellow blinking light);

Travel approximately 4.1 miles to the split of Hwy 377 (Junction) and Hwy 29 (Menard);

Veer right and stay on Hwy 29 (towards Menard) for approximately 1.1 miles;

The K-2 entrance will be on the left side of the road at 1.1 miles
 
Already on it. That's part of my pot luck contribution. Was hoping to make venison chili too but the time bandit got me.

Yeah...I know. Sat. a.m. looked pretty bad but all I could think about was how I was going to get out in the mud. Sure enough...after hooking up to the trailer, I couldn't move. Clutchee in his 60 red-lined me out of there. Sure glad we left Sat. a.m.

What a great weekend in Mason, TX. K2 is awesome. LSLC is the greatest group of people I know. I can not come up with the words to tell everyone how good it was to see you. I miss wheeling with you but it was great seeing everyone. Thanks everyone for the incredible hospitality.
 
Everyone, THANKS for making 2010 Round Up a great one, even though it got cut short.

Bruce, sorry I didn't get to meet you as I am the current care taker of the rig once known as Rascal, hopefully it will be back on the trails soon.
