Cool! If you are on the "road" i'm thinking of after you leave 550 you turn right and go up Poughkeepsie Gulch. Last time I was there was two years ago July (fully loaded adventure bike) and it was a boulder field.

Impressive that a stock 200 would make it up there. I know most of you guys are not stock, but still I'm sure someone was! Very impressive.

Yes the boulder field is still there and I used crawl control all the way up that stretch. Did awesome. @ethernectar was stock with street tires and made it up just fine as well.

Great pics. How was the drive out there? I'm thinking of doing it next year.
Not bad. We broke it up into chunks and hit Chicago for a few nights then stayed in Denver before heading to Ouray. Driving straight out from VA would be a long haul

That's freaking awesome! And I'm loving the pics everyone is posting!

I love this picture. I hope no one minds, but I wanted to use it as a background, so I took the woman out of the pic. No offense to whoever you are. ;)

Special thanks to Christo and Amory for all their support this past weekend. Amory got a couple great shots making the first sketchy turn on the switchbacks coming down Black Bear.

That's half the group going down black bear.

When you fold your mirrors in because the switchbacks are so tight...now that's pucker factor. Nice job, guys.

Whose truck is this with the ACC Atlanta sticker?

Not 100% sure what picture you are looking at, but pretty sure I'm the only one that was there with an ACC sticker! Far left of the pic with the 6 trucks

I'll get to the pictures later. Just wanted to say that this was an absolutely epic adventure and it was just great to see old friends and make some new ones. Linda and I iron butted it back to Atlanta starting yesterday at 5:00 am and rolling into town at 9:00am this morning. I made it to Birmingham before I had to throw in the towel and let Linda close the deal.

Cody, thanks for all of your work putting it together, and to Slee for the fantastic dinner on Friday. Class acts!

Worth every minute of travel time!

What an amazing trip with all of you!

Not home yet...and my Ouray photos are no longer on my phone (will post them soon from home), but on the way home, I decided to try going up Moab's "Top of the World" trail...since I couldn't make it to the Moab Pre-Ouray run with some o y'all...

Never done anything inMoab...so this might not have been smart to do alone & with no spotter. Was funny though, because when I made it, the ONE GUY I found at the top--in a MONSTER-IZED Jeep--was totally astonished that I'd made it in my comparatively pedestrian-looking truck. :) People really do underestimate these Cruisers. On the other hand--I wouldn't recommend doing this alone either.:hillbilly:

Here's a photo from a few hours ago from my phone:

That photo doesn't really show the massive drop, which looks about a 1/4 mile straight down. Also doesn't show that the truck is on somethng like a diving board... The next photo sorta lets u see a bit more of the overhang...

Still doesn't do it justice... This would be a great spot for a "3-D" photo... ;)

I'll post a BUNCH of Ouray photos as soon as I get home.

Such an amazing trip with all of you!!

Hey Cody, curious what speed Crawl you used. I didn't use crawl, didn't even think about it. That was a fun section for sure.

I liked the comment from the jeep guy at the river crossing where most of us climbed the rock wall.... "you guys are crazy!" Took a hit to my front bumper and knocked off a piece of the rubber on the ARB due to the approach angle as did a few others... but the climb was a piece of cake.

You are brave! Right up to the edge.. Wow. I wish you could have been there before Ouray Mark, but I'm glad you made it safely.

That view is totally worth it, right?!

That trail is very hard, nice work!

Yeah, that was you...for some reason I was thinking yours was silver. Maybe next year I can convoy with you. ;)

Curious how you post this many in one message. I've always been limitedto 5 per post. Any hints?
