Is this the same truck by chance?

Man-A-Fre Advance Land Cruiser and FJ Cruiser Off-Road Solutions 4x4 Parts and Accessories

Very nice none the less... will you take payments... for... the... rest... of... my.... life?

going by the vanity OZ license plate, I am going to say they are one in the same. You know you have a bad ass truck when man-aint free wants to showcase it on their website. Wish I had the coin. Good luck with the sale, and the little guy on the way.

Offers, Trades? Could also consider trades of more value (up to 15k) and later model years. Cars only though please, not into jeeps or bikes etc.

I think he's serious, I know I'd pony up $200 for those odds on THAT truck! Then I could auction off my Hundy and the winner of that could auction off their "fill in the blank".

Wouldn't be the first Mud auction.

Do it!

I'm in too at those odds......

I WAS serious...I'd even design the ad (unless that made me ineligible ). You just had professional photos taken...

I don't know if you could sell all 300 tickets on Mud alone, but maybe place an ad in Toyota Owners or a Petersens publication, and it would be over in like 24 hours. The key is limiting the number of tickets to what is needed to cover the nut. The more tickets you sell, the less the odds and therefore the less interested people would be.

I, for one, would buy tickets for $200 a piece at 1/300 odds. (prob. 2X)

Depends on how much time you have, and the details of legality and taxes.
The disclaimer paragraph would have to be crafted carefully and the drawing
itself would have to be all above boards...and verifiable.

It also depends on how much time you have to mess around with this versus getting ready to head down under...

Ya know what, id seriously consider it if i could get enough people to commit. From previous experience wrecking cars online, my only concern is the amount of people who use the anonymosity of the internet to say they'll do something then fade into obscurity when push comes to shove. I'm googling how to conduct said raffle. May be agood, fun option that makes sure my car goes to someone who'll appreciate it! (especially for a $200 SAS Fj :) )

Im thinking, $200 a ticket, 300 tickets only, have a drawing webcast.

EDIT, im not really good at google, but i think it would be illegal in CA to conduct a raffle for the car. Any lawyers out there?

Another edit. I dont think its going to work. My biggest fear is somebody kicking up a stink if they dont win (complaining i didnt have their ticket in the pile, or whatever other thing they can whinge about) etc. Bummer!

just call Jay leno and be done with it, i bet he doesn't have anything like it, and 55g's is chump change for his car collection...this is not the average joes type of rig, almost exotic 4x4, put it on the dupont registry or something and maybe someone from malibu will buy it for his 16 year old..lol. a celeb, rockstar, would grab this like that like it was buying a pair of jeans at the mall. it would look nicely on someones driveway on mtv cribs, not to insult anyone, but it looks like this really has to go. knowing that a gearhead/wheeler who appreciates fj's and yotas and would take good care of it is where she belongs. checked my lotto ticket, no go, :frown:

i feel your joy in expecting your first kiddo, all the cliches are true, all the best in your future back in Oz! and thanks for building such an awesome rig to share with us all in a magazine and in your site. to whoever ends up with this rig....i hate you. :hillbilly:

cheers.
