I am having a problem with my 2003 that is similar to the one common on the 2004+ models. Climate control is intermittent and the screen tells me to check the a/c connection. Although I may try the "pin 60 repair" I am looking around various salvage yards for a replacement screen.

Can anyone tell me what years will work in the 2003? Some of the salvage yard search engines want to sell me a 2001 screen, just wondering if it is the same.

thanks!

here's a picture of the back-side of the screen that came out of my 2003. The label shows what I believe is the part number 86111-60150 (or perhaps it's the other # 462200-0862?). You might ask the salvage folks to verify against this. If that doesn't pan out, and it's just the screen that's not working PM me as I might be willing to sell mine (but just the screen & not the circuit card that sits behind it as that's needed for the Canavie swap)

IIRC, the 2002-2003 is Gen 3 nav. I'll bet you'll have the best luck in a trade-out sticking with the same generation navigation system, but I have no first hand knowledge of that.

I'm not so sure but as far as I know there are two different screens in 2003! They look the same from the front but do have different connections on the back. The one postet by WaterCruiser is the same that I have in my 02.2003 model. It has the 6 pin, 10pin and 14pin 8pin connections on the back. Interesting is the part number from WaterCruiser is 86111-60150. My is 86111-60140.

BUT, most other 2003+ have different connections on the back. Check out 86111-60181 or 86111-60180.
I got this pic from here.

thanks. Finally found a replacement through LKQ junkyards. They sent several wrong items before we got to one that works.

The one that was causing the trouble for me was part 86111-60150. I replaced it with 86111-60140 (from a LX470). Cost me $200. It seems that this solved the problem, my climate control has been working.

The splash screen now says LEXUS.
