I've posted on fb groups but never got a clear answer, so here I am. Reverse lights not working on my 02 LX470, bulbs are fine. Are there pictures of where the reverse light switch is located? A YouTube video? A343F transmission, I looked at all the switches on the side of it tried a wire jumper to the plug that seemed likely but that didn't work

To answer your question directly: that switch is part of the PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SW that the transmission linkage attaches too. LH side of case, IIRC.
You are looking for 12V on the red/black wire leaving the switch. But check that fuse first.
Also try an alternate ground when testing the sockets.
