She did her homework. I have to give her all the credit for that. And man did she beat that dealer up to get the number she wanted.

I did. It was funny. The other dealer with the one with the rodent modification ended up dropping the price on it like $5000 after I emailed him the Lexus Drivers report on the damage done. Found that out while speaking with my salesman. Someone was in there to test drive it while I was actually test driving it. Tried to make a deal that day, wouldn't budge so we left. He then proceeded to text me basically for the next 24 hours about how he needed to protect the business blah blah blah. I told him it was fine and I understood. Finally he met me within $350 of where I wanted to be and had him fill the tank up with gas and was happy with the deal. #BOOM And not shockingly, I knew more about the truck than he did. Likely I knew more about all the Toyota's on his yard than he did. I love buying cars.

Picked up a Kurgo Cargo Kape to keep as much of the furkids hair off the carpet and seats. Also ordered some LED back up lights from Amazon and a second remote and key blank from Lexus Parts. Terrified I’ll loose the one we have now.

Nice. Got a link for the backup lights you went with?

@AndyO78FJ40 several mud venders sell kits for any combo of interior and exterior lighting. FYI.

Did a detailed wash today and found a couple items I missed upon my initial purchase inspection. Order the parts from partsouq. First time. I assume they are good since I’ve seen so many others talk about them.

Cracked rear passenger fog light (the light reflector thingie)
Chipped upper door trim on passenger front door

Also pretty sure the passenger side doors have had a respray too. They did a s*** tape job and painted over the clear edge protection that was put on at the factory. Carfax was clean so must have been a maco job. The color is good and to the casual observer it would never be noticed, but we are a little more discerning. She didn't catch it til she was washing and detailing it.

Not a deal breaker, but told her she should make sure the sales guy knows.

Exactly, it is super clean and if you weren't looking at what we are looking at you'd never know.

Like what?
The rear right reflector has a large chunk out of it, the left side trim on the b pillar has cracks. From what I can tell looks like it may have been damage from hail. Re-spray very evident but honestly I was going over it with a fine tooth comb as I had the time. Also, trim on the hatch on the drivers side upper was "forced" to fit and of course now doesn't fit with broken tabs. I am just being REALLY picky. That's how I am. Again like @jynx has said not deal breakers and likely all things car dealers will never see or if they do care about it. Spent a few hundred bucks to get things the way I expect them to be. Not a big deal but I will treat this girl with the respect she deserves.

Pretty stoked with the output of these Amazon bulbs. I hope they last. I have old eyes. Had to fish a bulb out of the housing. Was a PITA and for some reason while I was in there I decided to mess with the tailgate trim which prompted the venting thread. It’s fine. I’m fine. 🤣

Looking for feedback on the Nav update DVD. Has anyone done it? Not looking to get into a new head unit. The electronics in this things scare the crap out of me and I don’t want to mess with them just yet. Found the DVD on Lexus Parts now for $169. I should note though, I won’t use it for a lot of navigation, just general road names and such is something I enjoy having.
