Did Alpine Loop today with the wife and kids. I think we can officially consider ourselves a Land Cruiser family.

Also, I crossed paths with what I can only assume are a couple of magnificent mudders… a Black ‘18+ with a rooftop tent and a Burgundy ‘18+ with a rear Dissent bumper and 3 jerry cans.

Love the rigid grill light bar. That’s the very next thing I want to do. It would be used often where I live. Looks like 285/70r18

Correct on the tires. The rigid in the grill is great for a sleek look but it severely limits your adjustability, mine matches up pretty well with the lights and it has a great throw but it took a little dialing in.

Spent sometime in CO. Immogene, Red Mtn, Alta Lakes, Million Dollar Highway, and Hermosa Park. Lots of rain but it made for some beautiful sites and my girls were rock stars through the whole trip!

Visited a favourite lake today, but the incredibly high spring run off caused a water level high-enough to drown 99% of the usual campsites. Found a wonderful spot that was only accessible by driving about a hundred metres through a foot of water. Not a single person disturbed us all day!

Me and a couple friends took our LCs up Railroad Ridge in South Central Idaho. While the trail was pretty tame compared to all the write ups online, the camp spot was pretty rad. Write ups describe it as one of the most rugged roads in Idaho. We saw a Subaru Crosswhatever at the top. Rugged tires and standard clearance are more than enough.

Shamu (my 200) and Geri (buddy's 80) at the camp spot.

I was wondering about the descriptions I had read of that trail. I watched a video of some dirt bikers riding it and nearly fell asleep. Thanks for the info!

One could definitely take a stock 200 with good tires (shale, sharp rocks) up there with absolutely no issues.
