That sand is amazingly LIGHT in color. Almost white! Is that really how light it is? It looks somewhat solid in the foreground, too. Interesting stuff. Where is that?

You'd be surprised, it's almost brighter in person! White Sands NM is located in a relatively secluded spot in Southern New Mexico (about an 1.5 hrs North of El Paso). It's definitely worth the slight detour if you ever find yourself driving through on I-10. It's an amazing place, I highly recommend it. The road into the park is compact sand, but there's sand dunes (which our kids love for sledding) all around.

Sedona is just gorgeous... I had to bee-line it all the way back to San Diego yesterday, but wow. Really wanna spend more time in Sedona now! Great photos!

I know, right. One guy was telling me to go right or left and he was facing me...I finally told him to tell me driver or passenger! Not experienced spotters for sure but guys just having fun. I'll take the extra set of eyes since I don't have the front and side cameras.
