A few pictures of the ARB drawer installed. Next up is the front runner roof rack.

FWTXLC, did you install the drawers yourself? If so... How would you describe the ease/difficulty? I installed them in my 100 Series years ago... Thinking maybe ARB bought Outback? Anyway...I really want to install in my 200 that I recently bought...and am wondering about need of drilling, etc. Thanks for any info. :)

I installed some ARB Outback drawers in my 200. No drilling required. I used existing bolt holes from the seat hinge points and the floor anchor points. It's a pretty sturdy system.

Thanks for responding. Glad to hear no drilling required. I asked because before ARB...the drawer system instructions for install in my 100 were very poorly written...and when I looked at ARB's instruction PDF...it kept referring to various drilling possibilities. If it all goes into existing holes...that's a relief. Drawers are next on my list as I start building my 200 up to what my old 100 was. Killing me to wait...! :)

Thanks again!

pounded the rig and tested out the new tires and rims... I'll post more pics and do a quick write up on the wheels and tires...

Wow that's a bad deal.

Get the insurance check and go buy an ARB!

:-)

Cruiser did its job and my daughter and I are just fine, hit the deer at about 70-75 mph. No air bags deployed and it really did not seem like that bad of a hit until I pulled over and saw the damage. The buck (8 point!) jumped out from a low point in the median right before a bridge. I never saw it until it was right in front of my vehicle. No time to swerve or react. Parts of my car from the impact hit a vehicle coming the other way. They circled back around to check on us and told me that I almost knocked the deer into oncoming traffic too. After beating on the fender and removing some plastic parts here and there, she was still drivable. Can't open the drivers door but about halfway though. I will see what the adjuster says tomorrow. Good times, just picked her up three weeks ago.

kreiten, that just looks awesome. I love the offset on those wheels, and I think the 285/70 is the perfect size. Again, I wish them made them in an AT tire. How is the noise with the mud terrain? Also, I highly recommend the White Knuckle sliders. I'm thrilled with mine so far.

Thanks! Road noise with the windows up is just a notch above what I was getting with my Duratracs, really very little difference. With the windows down they are more noticeable, but not bad IMO... Offroad handling and grip appears to be way better(which I would expect) Road manners of the mud terrain are about what you would expect, a bit less freindly than the Duratracs, but not bad at all! Loving the new wheels and tires!!!

wait until you pull down a 3000+ mile road trip with those babies on there - you'll want to hang it up in the stable for a bit.
looks great - glad to see you getting that rig to where you want it.

Same old hill 10 years later with a newer Cruiser:)
