Switching lights from newer style to the older style

Patched all the holes in the fenders from the diamond plates that were on them.
Redrilled holes for the lights to locate them in the proper location.

Fitting and adjusting softtop bows, softtop doors to fiberglass body.
Need to add middle loop to tailgate and also add loops to the body to fasten.
Need to fabricate a lip for the top fasteners to hold the top since the fiberglass bodies didn't have them. More pics to come.
Also had to change out windshield since the inside of my blue one is rusty.
Picked up a volvo wiper motor to try installing along with adding a 3rd wiper on the windshield.
Picked up a volvo fan to be able to run 2 speed fan with air conditioning/radiator.

Cut and flipped and rewelded RH latch to make LH latch for Tailgate.
Followed a thread on MUD since LH is no longer available.
 
Very impressive Craig. Does the green top mean a complete color change? I might have one of those hinges if you need it. And what is the advantage of the Volvo wiper motor (intermittent operation????) and how much trouble is going to it to replace stock?

Going to go back to the original 532 mustard. I bought the top for my other one I never finished, so will use it here. Eventually I will get back to the other one...once I have one to drive again. The tailgate latch is available for the right hand side but the left hand side is discontinued.
The volvo wiper is suppose to be stronger...I believe you need to shorten the arm with the ball based on reading and putting toyota ball on it. I have seen it once or twice on mud. I want to add a third wiper for more coverage so thought this would be the time to experiment! Stay tuned!
I am waiting on turnbuckles for the canvas top then will remove that and start disassembly for some of the other projects.

I dropped of brake bucket and pedals and ebrake pieces and steering column pieces for power coat and power steering hoses to be made. I would love to be ready to paint by end of Feb.
 
End of February....beginning of August? have been busy fixing things on the body and glassing in to cover holes not used for A/C unit. Also finished the 3 wipers and volvo motor and a variety of other prep work.

I was able to buy those headlight bucket/adjuster assemblies new from Toyota a few years back (actually probably 10 years now....)
I will have to check that online to see if still available, the rings that hold the headlights in are unavailable where the tabs are right for the old lights. I have 2 sets with different part numbers that are identical that I ordered HOPING to find ones that would fit.
