20" Rims on an LX 470?

I used search and couldnt find anything.

I am looking to run 305/50R20 with new 20" rims - AI says it will fit with stock suspension - but I am skeptical.

Wheels are 8.5" wide

• Offset: +30mm

This is my first "offroader" so help a brother out.

Just my opinion, but 20's don't look good on the 100 series.

Be skeptical! Don't do it! 16", 17" or 18" but 20's aren't going to be great for an offroader.

Part of offroading is having sufficient sidewall to absorb impact and generate traction. 20's are completely antithetical to that.

A 305/50/20 is only 32" tall, +1" over stock. They'll fit but rubber band sidewalls like that are not a great choice for off road. The offset is good though, look for a tire that's 34" or less. Something like a 295/60.
