Battery is fully charged, electronic features all work, replaced starter but my Landy still takes up-to 20 key turns sometimes for the engine to turn over. Other times it fires up after one key turn.

Any thoughts on what could be wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Can you describe exactly what happens when you turn the ignition key ie: Does the starter crank (turn) the engine but the engine won't fire (start)? Or, do you hear clicks/clicking only and the starter doesn't crank/turn the engine?

I have the same issue. Forum reading leads me to believe a connection is bad. The signal from the ignition/neutral safety switch isn't delivering the required current to turn the starter. There are mods that bypass that signal with a relay or solenoid as that wire is buried in the main harness somewhere.
I have a new starter but my reading has me leaving it on the shelf and figuring out the wiring.

An oldie but a goodie . . .

Does the non-start happen when the engine is hot?

I had this happen twice.
Once was a bad fusable link that would make intermiitent contact.
and once was a bad battery connection, I had just installed the hot cable for the winch and it was pointed down slightly and interfering with seating the connector to the post.
From my expirance, I would suggest wiggling your fusable link and trying to twist the battery connectors on thier posts.

The starter relay is the first and easiest thing to inspect, if looks OK then swap with a different relay of the same type and see if it goes away. If problem persists then keep checking everything else in the circuit. load test with a high amp draw light bulb is best. ignition switch, neutral safety, all the grounds need to be good.
