Use more cuts to make a smoother curve. The picture is not the exact type of bend but gives you the idea. Either that, or weld a piece at a 90 deg. angle to your curve instead of bending each tab. Great job. Im glad to see you plugging away at that beast. Looking good!

Thanks mike...I'll probably weld a piece at a 90 and see how that works.

Took a short break from body work to rebuild the other side of my front axle.
Never really realized how many parts and pieces involved...

So many LV threads just die off...........more so then completions.

I hope to see this one make a come back.................you can do it

I even have the rear axle somewhat in place. My rear springs are in need of a little less arch to mount the shackles. Probably be fine once some weight is on it.

NV4500 or 4l65E.....cannot decide. That will be my next purchase. Motor mounts are sitting in a box, ready to go in.

scored a deal on Walker Beadlocks with tires. Couldnt pass up. Powder coated black look perfect for this rig.

Glad to see you back at it. I would go with the 4500 trans. Manual is more og style. Keep at it. Even a little everyday will get it finished.

I agree. NV4500. Early version. Looks good Jake!

Check out this shackle angle. Not sure the weight of the body will be enough to get those springs to settle.
