Yeah sliders for that rig are an easy build. 2x4 tubing as long as you want them. Rock out...

I've seen you wheel so do we need to go ahead and bring all of the old stock Birfields we have around our shops? Locker in the front = broken stock birfield eventually. Seriously, we have several that we'll let go cheap!

Steven White is building me some sliders in trade for a synthetic winch line.

Bring a few. Saving up to buy some Longfields that Jordan has laying around.

Getting the rear ready last night. Had to purchase a new wheel cylinder and some axle seals while I have everything apart.

Ordered a front service kit from Geroge at Valley Hybrids along with a socket and seal tool. Going to open up the front axle tonight and check out those calipers and see if they need some love.

Ordered some Toyota third member gaskets.

Do I need to press out the wheel studs to separate the rotor from the hub?

Will they turn them without me separating them?

Brass drift and a hammer, Tony. Looks like you are making good progress! ;)

Getting there. Drivers side caliper needs replacing. The pistons look to be frozen in their current position. I couldn't back them off. I also cannot get the short hard line off of the caliper or the 90 degree junction that is bolted to the dust shield.

I haven't looked at the passenger side. That will be tomorrow. I was able to take the hub nuts off with my fingers. No socket needed on the drivers side.

Anyone know what size line I would need if I cut down the dust shield and just got one long braided line to replace the rubber brake hose and the short hard line?
