Its a '93 model. 5 Speed and a factory part time case. Its apparently a GX model which i know nothing about except it has a working sunroof, the stupid climate control AC and a fancy factory sound system

Ripped out the junk 1HD-T and put the FTE in, 1 million times better. Also fitted a 1300nm NPC clutch too, fure future proofing purposes.

Its got 105 series axles underneath it too. 5 stud wheel pattern and the bigger axle studs and dowels. Front diff is full braced and has an ARB air locker in it and solid draglink and tie rod. Will be doing some chassis bracing and maybe hydro bumps on the front end very soon. Plus superior arms

Snaps of my previous toyota money pits. The other 80 was an LS2 swapped 5 speed with twin ARB lockers, 35s, 3inlift and a good rear camping setup. The 6liter was very fun but also a handful coz i drove it like a peanut.

The 79 had a full coiled chassis a turboed 1hz and a very good camping setup, same 3in lift setup i used in the 80 as that system just works so why change.

Finished rebuilding my winch, will have to hack apart grill to fit.

Knocked a few leaks and niggly little issues this week. New rocker cover gasket, inlet manifold gasket, replaced the little Oring in the rocker cover for the crank vent, deleted the EGR, deleted the intake heater element, installed a boost gauge.

Picked up some cheap 37s the other day

37x12.5x17 Federal Couragias, pretty worn but the price was right. Will get it all setup and working before buying good ones.
Fitted up the required 25mm front 50mm rear bump stop spacers, will probably fully trim the front and rear fenders because i can. Just need to track down some 17X9 -22 offset wheels and fit them up now

Also been chasing the auto climate control not wokring issue and finally worked up the motivation to pull the dash down to find the amp and sure enough it was toast.

Gimme cables any day lol. How do you fix the climate or is it possible to convert to regular 80 HAVC ?

Yeah cables for sure! Im not sure if this is repairable and they seem to be hard to find. Would need to get an entire donor system everything is this system is controlled by electrics so not really worth trying to do cables
