Was on my way to Salisbury Plain for a shakedown on my 80 after doing a lot of work and upgrades. Compressor seized up solid on the M3 at 70mph. Had to jump out on the hard shoulder, cut the belt, and keep moving.
The rest of the shakedown went well but I'm prepping this rig for Tenoumer Crater in November and need the AC 100% for the heat. Since it seized at speed, is the system likely full of debris?
Should I just bin the condenser, drier (i just have them new fitted two month ago) and expansion valve and start fresh? Also looking for UK sources for a genuine Denso 10PA17C besides RoughTrax. Cheers.
