Hey guys getting parts ready to rebuild another 97 1fz. Got most stuff ordered except piston rings. The cylinder walls look great so don’t want to bore it out and have to buy new pistons. Was just going to do new bearings and a light hone and new rings. Need some advice on rings would like oem or better. Anybody do this recently and have part numbers? Thanks @musthave @SNLC was thinking you guys are in The game and might have some advice!

I used Hastings HSN-2C4776 rings in my rebuild 2 years ago.

I don’t have the p/n’s handy but I go 100% oem.

Did my complete rebuild 1yr ago. With 372k miles on the original rings and not burning oil, as a known quantity, I figured OEM would be decent enough. Not to say others are worse.
