1998 Toyota Landcruiser 146,000 miles

I am the 3rd owner. I Purchase this truck last October and love Landcruiser and have owned one for the past 20 years but have also had a truck to go with them until now and miss a truck and would like to replace this with a used Tundra. This is not a need it is a want so if it sells great if not I will be fine. This is a toy for me because I have a company truck but I do not use the company truck for personal use. I purchased the truck with 139,000 miles and it now has a 146,000 miles and has been garage keep since I have owned it. This is a clean truck for its age and has the normal dings and scratches of a vehicle this age. It is not perfect but is clean and runs great. Truck does have the rear locker and center diff lock. I also have the 3rd row seat. Was been garaged the past year

Some History on the truck.

1st owner was in Idaho, LA and owned the truck for 12 years 5 months and 103,896 miles

2nd owner was in Shreveport, LA and owned the truck to 139,000 miles

3rd owner is myself and it is Now In Tarboro , NC and I have put the last 7,000 miles on it. The tile is clean and the car has not been any accidents. Also for those wonder since Tarboro has been on the news because of flooding I am far enough away from the flood and the truck has not been flooded.

I have a few records on the truck before I owned it and will give you the major items:

  • Timing belt 9/29/15 from the receipt water pump was not done at this time

  • STARTER 2/25/10

  • Drive Belts 2/25/10

  • Service cooling system 2/25/15

I am off the fence and the truck is back on the market. I need to get back in a truck

pm sent

New price: $16,750

Price Drop: $16,000.

Need to get in a truck

Nice hundo, would love to come see it in person but I'm a ways.

Thanks. obviously with my back and forth on the sale I hate to see it go but need a truck and want to get back in a Forty before too long. One day I will learn my lesson an just keep them because I have yet to break even on one yet. South Carolina is not that far. PM if interested and maybe we could arrange something

If I only sell my 62...I'd drop my 4 runner and use this as my daily driver! Unfortunately, I need to sell the 62 before I make any other moves..

I will entertain any reasonable offer.

Alright guys. I can not be that far off. At the price I have it I am taking a beating. Give me some feed back. It may stink but I can take it

Your hundred is really nice. I don't think it's overpriced at all.
Very low miles for a 98.

I just think people are looking for "entry level" 100's...like the 7500-10K range.
Or fully built overland rigs....so your offering falls kind of in the middle.

If I were looking for a 100 in this range, I'd be on a plane.

It's obviously in the upper percentiles for the price.

GLWS! It'll find a new owner :)

Just out of curiosity, can an ARB bulbar be added to that bumper?

Thanks Trapper. I believe the loop can be added but not the bull bar. I need to research more to make sure on the loop

cross bar can be added. It is about $110.00

Also possible trade. I was thinking of getting an old ford with the 7.3 powerstroke but think a crewman tundra fits the times and purpose better. Looking 2008 4x4 crewmax. Not looking a straight trade I would imagine I would have to add cash to the deal

Thanks

yep it is a great rig. I'm kinda in the group trapper mentioned. I'm looking for a 100 to put a solid axle up front, do some major rebuilding and turn into a rockcrawler beast on 39" tires. So my budget is 7K - 12K for the donor vehicle.
BTW......I lived just outside Greensboro for 10 years.......God I miss Carolina so much sometimes
