Thanks for the kind words.

I put 600 miles on the truck between yesterday and today. I'm debating holding onto it and completing the valve body upgrade to really see how much of a difference it makes; I've read nothing but good things.

The truck is a complete dream on the highway so I imagine that upgrade will only make it better. Pulling from 65-90 requires very little effort and no more than 4-5 lbs of boost to get the truck moving.

out of my price range but I wanted to praise you on very good pics. good luck on sale

Hard to accurately answer this. No before/after dyno was done but I think the general consensus is that with 7-8 lbs of boost it should put the 1FZ at 300-350 HP. Don't hold me to that though.

I installed the turbo with the full intentions of simply improving the drivability of 80 series. I wanted to retain the 1FZ reliability as much as increase the power. At WOT the turbo produces 9-10lbs of boost without a problem.

I RARELY go over 5 lbs of boost because 4-5lbs pushes the truck as much as I need. If I keep the truck, my next upgrade would be a valve body upgrade for the transmission.

In terms of power, I can tell you that right now it'll walk a stock 100 series. Upgrade the transmission valve body, mash the pedal and it'll probably make you smile, big time.

Gas mileage right now is about 12mpg average. I think the cold weather has had more of an effect on the consumption with the turbo versus a N/A motor.

Mine pushes past 400lbs torque at 6-7 lbs to the wheels. Exhaust made it all come together. He is DEAD on that a turbo will make you smile. :D

Good luck on the sale!

Crap.... PM sent... :hillbilly:

IPT extreme transmission valve body has been installed now for 3 weeks and has made a big difference in the trucks shifting speed. From a stop, with moderate boost, the truck is very impressive with it's weight.

Unfortunately however, I'm looking to purchase a house and should probably unload this since it's a toy and is driven 1/week.
