not a dumb question, I actually didn't know how important fan shrouds are till very recently so I can see why some choose to remove a cracked or broken shroud rather than replace them. But anyway yes, my shroud and and fan are oem and are in great condition.
Curious question for the guys who remember when Wits-End was around.
The modified blue clutch fan offered by Joey. What was the oil viscosity used & were the screws adjusted on them?
I have that unit on my rig, but I don’t recall the details.
Additionally, is there a service life for this oil? Should it ever be replaced? What interval, if any?

thanks guys for all the help! drove the truck for over 50 miles today and my highway temps sat at 187. Went up to 194 on stop and go traffic. but as soon as is I started driving, it settles back down. Also AC is even colder now. AC was cold before but now its freezing.
