A lift would certainly help the font driveshaft clearance. I'm sure it would be fine for around town driving, but not sure you'd wheel it. Safer bet I think would be to have a front shaft made.
I've had a few questions regarding how drive-able it is. It's fine to be driven. I'm probably being a little over cautious about the tires etc to just take off on a 500 mile drive. But runs fine. I recorded a 4-5 minutes video on phone (sorry in advance) to show it on road stretching legs a bit. First clip was just 'passing gear' and the longer clip is simply getting on and off interstate. With the sun I could get either the gauge or the view out windshield, but not both. So, it's not good but will at least show it moving.
Also, for fun I ran the performance timer on the Unltragauge. No idea if it's close to accurate. Buts here is what it gave for times. The 'ft' to the right of the time is braking distance to 0MPH. I didn't stand on it (motor has about 800 miles on it) but I doubt it gets much better. Probably not winning any drag races still, but moves decent.
