1994 Fiberglass Fender Flare - Repairable?

Backed into a tree last night and tore off the driver side rear fender flare. Does this look like its repairable?

With how much used fiberglass flares are going for it might be worth a shot.

That’s easily repairable, a simple polyester repair kit from an auto supply store, some coarse sandpaper and acetone for precleaning.

Yes fiberglass is easy to work with. I have repaired large sailboats and currently rebuilding my rusted fj80. Go to the west systems fiberglass site and it will show you how to make any type repair. Just keep doing thin layers of glass Matt and epoxy. Sand to complete final form you desire. Make a mistake just sand out and start again. When done right super strong

I only use epoxy, West is one of my go to suppliers.

I recommend polyester kit as it’s cheap and pretty much user friendly.

A heads up. If you need to do a large repair or even build somthing you can buy sheets of fiberglass called G10 from folks like Grainger. This is not a piece of cheap shot gun mat fiberglass. It is solid mostly epoxy heavy duty sheets. Again called G10. Notice it has tensile stringth of steel. It weighs like aluminun and cuts about the same. Great material. You can buy various size and thickness:
