I forgot all about the carb equipped 1Fz🤦‍♂️

I thought the 1Fz did not come out till 1993?
As others have said, the -FE came in the 08/92 and later US models.
Other countries kept the -F unit for much longer.

Think I saw a 2005 SA -F 105 not too long ago and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. lol

There were no FZJ100 or 105 iterations with a -F iteration.

All were the later coil packed 1FZ-FEs.

7x series trucks continued with -F iterations depending on market.

Now I'm curious wth I was looking at.
Was there a coil-packed -F?? 🤔

could have been a conversion but the description also says that it came from europe, did they get the motor before we did in the us?

Japan is the same way. If you look at Subaru and Honda mainly the 03-04 WRX/STi they had that body style a year prior to us in the States same goes for Honda.

Very cool history.
Weird without a throttle body.
