1992 V6 automatic 2 WD .. Auto Trans Electrical connectors

the 2 pin connector on the trans
to the rear of the kick down cable has fallen apart .
and the gear selector light on the dash no longer work

and the truck will not start either
if I wiggle wires all the stuff works
is this a common 2 pin connector ?

does anyone have a part number

I'm thinking those two wires are going to your neutral safety switch and since it is not working it's causing the car to not start because it's not sure what gear it's in.

Can you post up a picture of what you're talking about? If it is the NSS you can bypass it or try to find a wiring harness off of another Toyota at the junkyard and cut the connector off and solder the new connector on...just make sure you wire it up right!
