i am very much interested in your rig, however i live at about 7k feet in durango, CO and moutain passes are frequently traveled. do you think the 3f would be able to pull alright?

Sorry, I would not be able to give an good answer to this question. I drove the truck to GSMTR last year in Sparta, TN and that is probably the highest elevation the truck has seen. It did fine, I mean I did down shift out of 5th, but I really don't have anything to compare it to. Since the truck has the h55, I can tell you it is a lot more fun to drive that the auto transmission in the fj62.

No emissions to speak of, it does have some type of charcoal cannister, but no egr, cats, or anything like that. The engine bay is totally original to Middle East Specs. Only thing added under the hood it the Vintage Air Kit.
HTH. I can send more pictures if needed, but it is not the typical nightmare of vacume hoses.

Yes the top does come off and the windshield will lay down flat like a fj-40. I have never had the top off, but it looks pretty simple.

Thanks Jim. For a person who works on so many carburators, I would think you would be a fan of the gas engine.
