wow man - I wish I would've found this thread awhile ago. I will definitely be going back and painting my axles. What did you use to paint them? I am guessing I good couple hours of sanding prior to?

Used a strong engine degreaser and a power washer, then wire wheeled any rust or stuck on dirt. No sanding really neccessary. I used regular rattle can primer(rustoleum), then black gloss rustoleum.
I know its been a while, but do you have any updates on this thread? Would love to see more of the audio setup if you've had time to finish it. Thanks!
