If I didn't already have too many trucks..... Dang!

I hear ya. I love the little BJ and wish I could keep it around, but the troopy is the main focus these days and I have limited space to store my fleet while in A-Stan:grinpimp:

How's CO treating you?

I have replied to everybody's PMs so far and have you all in order that you contacted me;)

I had thought the small BJ's got almost 30 mpg? Is this not the case with this one Alex? Either way very clean truck.

Well, it's a little heavier than stock with the F&R bumpers and sliders and slightly larger tires. It may get better, the speedo/odo are a little off due to tire size. When I drove it home, I got mid-20s on straight highway driving being easy on the skinny pedal. But regular day-to-day, 20-21ish.

Not that it want sell via the Forum but have you considered Ebay? There has been at least two BJ70's on there recently and I believe both sold for well over the reserve price.
Just a thought.........1978HJ45

I'd barely get 20 driving in town with my stock BJ70, so this sounds about right. Who changed out the gears? Stock was 3.7, I believe. Sounds like a nice truck at a fair price from an honest seller. Someone better snap it up!

Oops, that's right. 3:7s Forgot:doh:

I'll store it in my garage for you while your gone at no charge. I'll even pay to keep it insuranced and keep the battery charged!

Seriously, where is the rust. Besides the components under the hood that are rusted I don't see any other evidence. Could you post a couple of pictures of what you had to fix and where the issues are located. Do you have a clear NC title for it? Thanks.

Thanks for the interest guys.

I have replied to all PMs. I have you all in line as you contacted me, if any one falls out, I'll move to the next in line:cheers:

Good truck

For the record, this 70 used to my truck. I imported it legally from Ontario and had no trouble getting it titled and registered. The truck ran great- everything worked fine and as it should. I put the suspension and tires/wheels on the truck and it rides and handles well. Interior in my opinion was darn near mint- exceptionally clean and the floating seats were comfy. For fuel mileage I got 25MPG on a highway run and then in the 20-21MPG range for all around driving. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. Gary S (Shmukster)
