No engine shot but looks salvageable.

The parts are worth more than $1000!

its a 75 or 76 model if the top and bezel are original, and from the patina they all seem to have degree of love.

Is there any way the guy can check? Does the VIN tell you what year it is? Thanks. If it is a 75, than I actually may be interested in it for parts for mine.

I reached out to him. We'll see if he gets back to me before the holiday. It is about 3 hours South, and we are headed about 3 hours North for Thanksgiving!

if its running. aha. theres a guy on mud selling a fiberglass complete tub asking 1000, so for total around 2g you'll have a decent. it has not been started in 5 yrs. so battery, clean carb & tank, fresh gas and away you go.

super40 and whitey45 - good catch. The owner confirmed with me last night that it was a 76. He already had an offer pending. Possibly the new owner will show up on mud. Have a good Thanksgiving.

Check again pretty sure there is an 84 fj40 ....maybe not in this country but possible Canada and Saudia arrabia and Australia.
