Greetings from the Philippines!

I own this very rare import for 3 years now and havn't done yet with the restoration. First of course parts would be very hard to find here in the Philippines. (Almost none) Second, only few partsman are almost familiar. I have almost given up on this project due to the difficulties encountered. I found out on our neighbor country, this jewel is still running but of different badge. (Daihatsu)
Because of my discovery, here she is now. :-)

It's not mine but looks almost the same.
I sold mine but it has since come back here to LA.
The current owner uses one of my friends for repairs on it.

Looks like an old suzuki jimny, I was going to say maybe it just had a toyota grill but... looks like all genuine toyota parts to me.

If it weren't for prerequisite participation in slingin' onions on a street corner or wearing the goofy hat, I'd join the Shriner's and rock one in my latter years.

Interestingly, wound up with an 'NOS' pair of coarse spline, long bodied hubs that cross referenced to Blizzard, Daihatsu Rocky (I think), and one or two other vehicles, the names never heard of.

Ya, i could get one for the wife but i need a man size truck.

LOL, i know the pain kabayan. it's a rare vehicle and just keep it looking good for now. Maybe you can custom build your own accessories.
Never been to Davao tol i would love to visit your place the next time we head home. I spend my summers in Guimaras since i was a baby i speak fluent Ilongo,Karay-a and hiligaynon. Ano bilib kana? Keep in touch kabayan.
