This truck had its restoration documented here (Tearing down my HJ47 Troopy), and its been a blast to own and drive. But all good things run their course. I need a new project and want someone else to enjoy this beast. I don’t have to sell her but space is limited and the next project needs the room. I started the restoration in March of 2011 after buying her from a member here (deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan at the time). His best friend and wife made the deal with me while he talked to me via E-mail. I drove it for a year and finally decided she deserved to be brought back to life. I would suggest anyone interested look through the build thread and then feel free to ask any questions. $39,500.

More pics! The turbo is from TurboGlide Australia. It is oil cooled and specifically designed for this 2H engine. I had it shipped from AU. This was a frame-off restoration that took almost 4 years. Pics of the undercarriage are coming.

I’ve come to realize my asking price is too high for the current market. I’ll be considering all reasonable offers going forward.
I love my Troopy, and will answer any questions honestly. She needs a good home!

My plan if I sell it is to do something totally different.
So, I’ll see if the market is down currently on these trucks to the point I have to keep it and do the 5 speed install and enjoy it for a while longer.
