Working on a 12v 12HT swap in my South American FJ45 troopy.
I was originally going to use this motor in my 40 that has an internally regulated alternator, but picked up this 45 and the 45 has an externally regulated alt. Instead of dropping another $500 on an externally regulated alternator, I’d like to eliminate the external regulator.
I’ve determined the regulator that was on my 45 is unlikely OEM - it’s Nippon Denso 026000-2121. I can’t find it listing to a Toyota fj45. But, What I really can’t find though is any wiring diagram that matches the wiring harness colors on my chassis side harness. I believe these colors are original since they are in what appears to be the original loom.
Chassis side I have : black/yellow (x2), white blue, white green, white black, and a larger gauge solid blue wire.
