For Sale 1981 BJ44

Well, I am doing the unthinkable by putting my BJ44 up for sale. I tried to sell it 2 years ago but changed my mind. This time is for real. Take a look at my craigslist ad 1981 Toyota Landcruiser BJ44 RARE. I didn't get a chance to take pics of the paint difference tonight, I will get it tomorrow. Main thing is what was done before the paint which was the rear corner being replaced. This rig is now 95% rust free. The bottom of the rear ambie doors and front left fender still have fiberglass but it is not noticeable. If I get the paint finished I will be asking for more $$.

Yup, it was time. I had been looking for something different to play with. With the sale of my 44 came a brand new VRod Muscle. Loving the Harley and am Glad the new owner is enjoying the cruiser. No regrets.

New tires

Just added some BFG 31/10.50 R15s to the 44 she's looking great and runs like a top. I found an old Confer roof rack 48x60 that I need to get some braces for, this spring I'll put it on and post some more pics. Had to replace the fuel filter primer pump (started leaking when I changed out the filter). Other than that no probs. Love driving it and put about 30miles a day on her. Had an old vet chase me down the other day said he had a FJ43 back in 78 and just had have a closer look at this one. I thought he was going to cry when I told him to take it for a drive. Made my day. Merry Christmas James!

She's looking good. I am really glad to hear that the ole girl has been treating you right. That's interesting about the primer pump because I had replaced it the last time I changed the fuel filter. At least they are cheap to replace. Merry Christmas to you to. Oh, I added a new toy to my garage. I bought a 1953 F250...pretty good shape.
