1980 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser, it has rust in all of the normal places for these vehicle's and it needs a motor but the vehicle is complete. The top is in very good condition and all of the glass is in tack. I will post pics soon but if you have any questions call or text 785-nine five five-0266.

I sent this person an email a week ago. I asked for pictures and additional information. Here's what I was provided:

Thanks for your interest. I bought this as a project for my wife and I to work on. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for her but she really wanted a motorcycle since she recently got her motorcycle license. The tub is in pretty rough shape and the motor was ruined by previous owner who thought it would work without oil. It broke a connecting rod and put it through the pan. I have removed the head to remove the broken piston, the block, trans, and transfer case is still in the vehicle. The price is very neg and just a starting point. If you are interested let me know.

Got these pictures too. Seems like a nice guy.

He hasn't finalized the title transfer to himself, but it sounds like he has all the necessary documentation to take care of that.

I think this would make a nice project for someone looking for an 79+ 40. Too bad it isn't an 81. I have seen much worse junk selling for much more.

Tub looks rough, including under the floor mats. But the rest of the body looks ok.

I am somewhat interested, but I am multiple states away, and would have to figure out shipping.

Around me that's basically a "giving it away" price. I had a '79 a couple of years ago with a tub in WAY worse shape. I sold it to a local guy who was tickled pink since the frame was clean and it ran and drove fine.
